Ulanzi AU05 Vibe Key AI Voice Input Keypad I018

Ulanzi AU05 Vibe Key I018 for Faster Voice Input

The Ulanzi AU05 Vibe Key AI Voice Input Keypad I018 is built for desk workflows where speaking a command can be quicker than typing it out. It suits users who work with AI tools, writing apps, coding tasks, or shortcut-heavy desktop setups.

Press-to-Talk Workflow

The voice key lets you start input with one press, then speak into the onboard omnidirectional microphone. That makes it easier to move through prompts, notes, or commands without constantly switching between keyboard and mouse.

Physical Controls at Hand

The device combines six physical keys with a multifunction knob, so common actions stay within reach. This is useful when you want tactile control for everyday AI actions instead of relying only on on-screen menus.

Desk-Friendly Build

Ulanzi lists an aluminum alloy body, an approximate weight of 84 g, and magnetic mounting support. The compact size helps it fit into a small creator desk or work setup without taking much space.

Battery and Charging Details

The built-in 300mAh battery is listed with up to 5 days of battery life under the stated usage condition, and the device charges through USB-C. Ulanzi also lists an approximate 4-hour charging time, which is helpful if you plan to keep it ready for regular desk use.

Compatibility and Setup Checks

This model connects by dongle only, so buyers should check that their computer setup can use the receiver. Ulanzi lists support for Windows 10 or later and macOS 12.0 or later on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. The page also notes that it works with mainstream AI voice-input software and compatible tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, and Typeless, but the exact behavior still depends on your software setup.

Good to Know Before Ordering

This is a dedicated voice-input and shortcut controller, not a standalone AI assistant. If you want a device that works as hardware for voice dictation and quick commands, this model fits that need well. If you need a full keyboard replacement or built-in AI software, that is a different use case.
