U5 HD Drone with Brushless Motor and Dual Camera

U5 HD Drone with Brushless Motor and Dual Camera

• Camera: The drone is equipped with two cameras—one forward-facing and one on the belly for optical flow positioning. The “4K” advertising for the camera refers to the photo resolution, while recorded video is typically low-quality 1080p at 20fps or less. The image stabilization is poor or non-existent.
• Portability: The U5 HD Drone has a foldable design, making it compact and easy to carry in the included storage bag.
• Flight performance: The drone uses brushed motors and a 6-axis gyroscope for stabilization. It is light and agile but is not meant for long-distance flight or challenging wind conditions.
• Battery: Flight time is modest, with a single modular battery typically providing 7–15 minutes of flight. Additional batteries can often be purchased in bundles.
• Control: The drone is controlled via a remote and a smartphone app that provides a first-person view (FPV) through Wi-Fi. It includes beginner-friendly features such as:
• Altitude Hold Mode: Maintains a stable height. Headless Mode: Makes flight orientation easier for beginners.
• One-Key Functions: Automatic takeoff, landing, and return.
• Trajectory Flight: Allows users to draw a flight path on their phone screen.
