REDMI Smart Pen 1S Advanced Active Stylus

REDMI Smart Pen 1S for Precise Tablet Writing

REDMI Smart Pen 1S is an active stylus made for supported Xiaomi and Redmi tablets. It suits buyers who want a cleaner, more tablet-native writing and sketching experience instead of using a generic capacitive pen.

4096 Levels of Pressure Sensitivity

The pen supports 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, so it can respond more naturally to writing and drawing input. Xiaomi also lists millisecond-level ultra-low latency, which helps the pen feel more responsive on compatible tablets. Actual behaviour can vary by device and app.

Shortcut Buttons for Faster Work

It has two side buttons: one for writing and one for screenshots. On supported software, the writing button can open Mi Canvas or switch brushes, while the screenshot button can capture the screen or switch colours. Some shortcut features depend on app and software compatibility.

Made for Supported Xiaomi and Redmi Tablets

This stylus is compatible with Xiaomi Pad Mini, REDMI Pad 2 Pro series, REDMI Pad 2 series, and REDMI Pad Pro series listed by Xiaomi. It is not meant for every Xiaomi or POCO tablet, so checking your exact model before ordering is important. Xiaomi also notes that writing refresh rate and shortcut behaviour may vary by device compatibility.

Battery, Charging and Daily Use

Xiaomi lists an 80mAh battery, around 12 hours of continuous writing, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and USB Type-C charging. The pen also supports screen-off writing, but this feature must be enabled manually in settings. That makes it useful for quick notes, study, and sketching sessions on the right tablet.

What Comes in the Box

Xiaomi’s listed package contents include the REDMI Smart Pen 1S, a pen tip, a quick start guide, and a warranty card. Package contents may differ by region, so the final bundle should be checked on the product page before ordering.

Check Compatibility Before You Buy

Choose this stylus only if your tablet is on the supported list. Xiaomi states compatibility with Xiaomi Pad Mini, REDMI Pad 2 Pro, REDMI Pad 2 Pro 5G, REDMI Pad 2, REDMI Pad 2 4G, REDMI Pad Pro, and REDMI Pad Pro 5G. If your tablet is outside that group, Xiaomi says full compatibility is not guaranteed.
