JTS TK-280 for clear vocal pickup

The JTS TK-280 is a wired dynamic vocal microphone built for lead and backup vocals, spoken-word use, karaoke and instrument miking. Its cardioid pattern helps focus on the main sound source, which can be useful when you want a microphone that is easier to control on stage or in a rehearsal setup.

Dynamic cardioid design

This model uses a moving-coil dynamic capsule with a cardioid pickup pattern. That combination is well suited to close-mic vocal work because it is designed to pick up sound from the front while helping reduce pickup from the sides and rear.

Vocal-tuned frequency range

JTS lists the TK-280 frequency response as 80–12,000 Hz. For buyers, that matters because it shows the mic is aimed at voice-focused use rather than extended full-range recording.

Onstage switching control

The built-in on/off switch gives you quick control at the microphone itself. That is helpful for live use, announcements and other situations where you want to mute the mic without reaching for the mixer every time.

Suitable for singing and speech

Official JTS material and retailer listings place the TK-280 in vocal, karaoke, presentation and instrument-miking use cases. If you need a simple handheld microphone for speech or singing, this model fits that role without moving into wireless or Bluetooth territory.

What to check before ordering

This is a wired microphone, so you will need the proper cable and input setup for your mixer, amplifier or audio interface. If you are comparing models, keep in mind that the TK-280 is a dynamic cardioid microphone rather than a wireless or Bluetooth unit.
