CMF Speaker M by Nothing Portable Bluetooth Speaker

CMF Speaker M by Nothing for portable listening

CMF Speaker M is a portable Bluetooth speaker from Nothing made for everyday listening at home, at a desk or while moving between rooms. It combines a two-driver sound setup with wired USB-C audio support, so it works as more than a basic Bluetooth speaker.

35W two-driver sound

The speaker uses a 70 mm woofer and a 16 mm tweeter for a 35W total output. Nothing positions it for deeper bass, textured vocals and clearer separation between instruments, which helps when you want fuller sound from a compact unit.

Playback modes and EQ control

Speaker M supports Stereo Mode with another Speaker M, Party Mode through Auracast and a Wide Soundstage mode for a broader listening feel. In the Nothing X app, you can choose Balanced, More Bass, More Treble or Voice, then fine-tune sound further with Custom EQ.

USB-C and Bluetooth flexibility

It supports Bluetooth 6.0, dual device connections and USB-C audio playback with low latency. That makes it useful for switching between phone and laptop, and for desk use where wired audio is preferred for films or gaming.

Built for longer sessions

Nothing lists up to 18 hours of playback under its published test conditions, and the battery is rated at 4900mAh. The speaker also supports fast charging, with enough charge for 1 hour of use from a 10-minute top-up under the stated test conditions.

Outdoor-ready protection

CMF Speaker M carries an IP68 dust and water protection rating. That makes it better suited to everyday carry and varied indoor-outdoor use, though buyers should still follow the usual care expected for any electronic speaker.

Compatibility and buying checks

For app features and extra controls, Nothing says the speaker works with Nothing OS 1.5.6 and above, Android 8.0 and above, and iOS 13 and above through the Nothing X app where applicable. The box includes the speaker and a quick start guide only, so shoppers who want USB-C audio should plan their own cable setup.
