The GoPro Hero6 Black is the latest in GoPro’s action camera lineup. Featuring more processing power than the Hero5, the Hero6 and its’ GP1 processor allows users to shoot higher frame rates in 4K, 2.7K, and 1080p HD resolutions, as well as improved image stabilization, voice recognition, and audio quality. The Hero6 allows for recording in UHD 4K resolution up to 60fps, and 1080p resolution up to 240fps. These higher frame rates allow users to achieve previous unattainable slow-mo footage. It also allows more Field of View (FOV) options, including Medium, Narrow, and the new Linear mode (only available in 2.7K and 1080p settings), which helps correct the len”s barrel distortion. The Hero6 also offers Raw File shooting, WDR (Wide Dynamic Range), Burst Mode, and Time Lapse Mode shooting to appease all styles of photographers needs. The Hero6 is also the first GoPro Hero with 5GHz Wi-Fi connectivity for faster video transfer times (compared to 2.4 GHz available on previous models). The quicker transfer times allow users to use the Quik Stories app for downloading and composing videos to share “on-the-spot”.
